1.From Jaipur to IAS
Born on July 3, 1999, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Neha was raised in Chhattisgarh, where she completed her schooling at DPS Korba and DPS Bilaspur. Her father, Shravan Kumar, a senior Income Tax officer, inspired her to pursue civil services.
2.Digital detox for 3 years
To focus entirely on her UPSC preparation, Neha abstained from using a mobile phone and social media for three years. This disciplined approach helped her eliminate distractions and concentrate on her studies.
3.Triumph at 24
After facing initial setbacks, Neha's perseverance paid off when she secured an All India Rank of 569 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2021 at the age of 24. She achieved a total score of 960, including 151 marks in the interview.
4.Style and substance
Beyond her academic achievements, Neha is recognised for her elegant style and poise. Her fashion sense and confident demeanor have made her a role model for many aspiring civil servants.
